A striking 1980s necklace by Greek designer Mapamenos Natepas, composed of sculptural wave-like links in substantial 18k yellow gold. The articulated construction allows the links to move beautifully along the neckline, giving the necklace a bold presence while following the contours of the neck.
Mapamenos Natepas was a Greek luxury jewelry house known for distinctive, sculptural designs in high-karat gold. The house is now known as Maramenos & Pateras, and the wave motif remains part of the designer’s vocabulary today.
