Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Band

A substantial Victorian 18k gold band centered with a beautifully chunky old mine cut diamond.

Made in Birmingham by Henry Griffith & Sons, the ring dates to the late 19th century and bears worn British hallmarks from more than a century of wear. The approximately .33 carat old mine cut diamond is set low into the broad gold band, giving the ring an understated sparkle while allowing the character of the hand cut stone to take center stage.

At 6.5 grams, the ring has a wonderfully substantial feel, with a broad profile that tapers toward the back of the shank.
